Mission and
the circular economy

We show a direction, not fictional indicators. Below is what works today and where QUC is heading by 2030.

Mission

One Vision. One Mindset. One Quality.

Four businesses operate in four different markets, but they rest on one way of thinking. The same service standard, the same honesty in product information, the same responsibility for the whole process — from sourcing the goods to delivery to the customer.

What we do today

Measures already in place.

QUC is gradually transforming towards a more sustainable and efficient business model. The following things are working now — they are not a plan.

Electric fleet

We are expanding our fleet of electric vehicles, including those used by our sales representatives. We intend to continue electrifying the fleet.

Our own renewable energy

We use a photovoltaic installation at our headquarters, so part of the energy needed to run the company comes from renewable sources.

Transport optimisation

We develop distribution so that we can efficiently serve areas within a reasonable distance of the Jasło warehouse — limiting empty runs and unnecessary transport.

Where we are heading

Target model:
the circular economy.

We want to use the experience gained across various industries, together with our competences in technical chemistry, materials, logistics and industrial processes, to recover valuable components from post-process materials and other material streams.

Target model

Strategic direction
01

Material recovery

Sourcing post-process materials and other material streams that currently end up as waste.

02

Separation and processing

Extracting valuable components using our technical chemistry expertise.

03

Reuse

Returning the recovered raw material to the material cycle.

04

New product

Building a product with real market value on that basis.

We do not present QUC as a company that already runs these processes at scale. This is a strategic direction for the company. Ultimately, the circular economy is to be not only part of QUC's environmental responsibility, but also one of its future areas of competence and business.

QUC 2030

Our direction for the coming years.

By 2030 we want to consistently reduce QUC's environmental impact through further fleet electrification, the use of our own renewable energy, transport optimisation, reducing waste and material losses, and developing technologies that make it possible to recover and reuse valuable raw materials.

Why we do not publish figures

We do not publish data on tonnes recovered, the share of returned materials or emission reductions until we have a system that allows us to measure them reliably. We would rather show a direction than an indicator that cannot be verified.

Regulations

Packaging and PPWR.

QUC is consistently adapting its product portfolio, processes and packaging to changing European Union regulations, including the requirements of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

The work covers a review of the portfolio, product documentation and the packaging used in each of the four businesses.
